The youngest member of a family of geniuses who've all managed to distinguish themselves in their chosen field, Perfect Jones has chosen her own career as a costumed crimefighter. She has no powers, but has always able to master any skill she needs in a relatively short amount of time, possibly as a result of an undetected Darkwell trait. So far she has proven herself to be an accomplished martial artist (with perhaps a slight tendency to rely on groin shots) and gadgeteer. Her true aspiration is to become one of the great vigilante detectives, like Thoth, Reason, or the Dock Shadow. For all her intelligence and dedication, she's still a young woman just on the verge of adulthood, and can be naive, even child-like at times. Her single-minded determination to be a crimefighter has cost her socially, and she collects stuffed bunnies to ease her loneliness. |

Ray Vallenzio was once an ordinary carnival performer, a professional fire-eater like his father before him. A thirst for vengeance against the criminals who scarred the woman he loved lead him to be magically branded and infused with elemental fire... but at a high price. Now he uses his abilities... which include regeneration, enhanced physical strength and prowess, and the ability to inhale or exhale fire at will... to try to do some good, while trying hard not to cause serious injury or damage with his flame. If Ray has a weakness, it's women. He's done his best to wall off his heart after having it broken, but he was always a passionate man even without pure elemental flame fueling his emotions. |

Broker (real name unadvertised) used to help cook the books for the Teamsters, but has since turned his abilities to good instead of greed. He's the proprietor of Broker's Bar and Grill, a sports bar only remarkable during the day for the quality of its fried foods. At night... or later at night, anyway... it becomes the nerve center for Star Harbor's vigilante operations. Broker is an information broker, a central clearinghouse for clues and capers. He helps young and inexperienced heroes establish their first contacts and helps coordinate patrol routes to ensure maximum coverage and minimum 181s (accidental hero battles.) |
