Why do you think we haven't been called in to work for like over a year?" "I dunno. I just figured it was because Lexy and Quinn grew up or got lives or something," Lily said. "So, how'd they do it? Time travel? Big cosmic battle? Annoying throwaway character that time forgot using the dimensional walls like a headboard?" "No, they just kind of scrapped everything and started over from the beginning." "But because we're occasionally allowed to do the whole breaking-the-third-wall metareference thing, we still remember the old version?" "Yep." "And nobody else does?" "Nope."
